linkWhat can I say about a J.R.R. Tolkien theme pizzeria/brewpub? The concept sounds great, but the beer isn't.
The beer was quite inexpensive. I received a beer sampler for $2 that included 4 ounce samples of 6 beers. It was about $2 for a pint as well. I tried several beers--a wit, raspberry wheat, a scottish, honey lager (I think), and others--and found them all unimpressive if not altogether bland.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Bilbo's for its beer. Its pizza may be a different story.
