Visited early afternoon on a Friday during GABF. Some indoor and outdoor seating and a small menu make this a nice place for a beer and a quick bite to eat. They have 5, 10, and 15 beer samplers as well as bottles and growlers to go. We tried the 10 beer sampler. All the beers were excellent. The ladies decided on a sandwich so we ordered the Hot Sandwich Pairing which came with four more beer samples. Service was quick despite the crowd. Sandwiches were great. We bought growler to go and a 12 ounce Ghost Face Killah for later in the day. One of the Ghost Face Killah beers is plenty. What a great beer but only in moderation. Any chili head that enjoys beer should try this beer.

Yet another excellent brewpub in Boulder. Also, they're in the same parking lot as a rock gym (The Spot), so this is my favorite industrial park of all time. The interior is pretty cool, everything is very wooden, which shouldn't surprise anyone considering the name. They have some really good, and pretty unique beers. Last time I was there I had their Imperial Stout, which was excellent, and an espresso raspberry stout, which tasted like one of those fancy raspberry chocolates you get one holidays. Totally unique. Their Hoppy Boy IPA is great too. I haven't had a beer of their's I didn't like. Good stuff. They have food, but I haven't had it.

I stopped in just before closing during the week so the place was pretty quiet during my visit. In fact, I think I was the last person in and out of the door. The tap list was quite respectable. Given the time, I couldn't try everything so opted for a pint (or two) of the ones I most wanted to drink and small tastes of a couple others. One of the beers - not sure which - did have a hint of diacetyl which is something I'm sensitive to and find unpleasant. The others were fine so this could have been a one-off issue. Good pub decor and friendly staff. Will stop back next chance I get to try some of the other beers.

The Twisted Pine is a very laid back place. They have a variety of fresh beers, as it says on their wall "Who needs a born on date when you are in the delivery room". Notable are Whiskey Barrel Red (GABF winner 2007), Honey Brown Ale, Billy's Chili Beer (best with food), Rasberry Wheat, Cream Stout, Espresso Stout. The staff are always friendly to you and your canine companion. The atmosphere is always very comfortable.

decent brewery in boulder. you have to pay for the sampler, but it's inexpensive considering the amount of beer you get. the wife loved the rasberry wheat, while my fav was the "hoppy boy" ipa. they had a chili beer on tap, which was good, but like most chili beers, was only good until you burped [up chilies]. they didn't have sixers or bombers of some of their offerings there at the brewery, but were gracious enough to call around to some of the local liquor stores to find some for us. friendly waitstaff. lots of dogs.
