Hops and Grain Brewing is located in a brick and blue steel industrial building, in a not-so-inviting location. The industrial park is in a rather secluded area, and the entrance is fenced. A single garage door opens to the loading dock where the kegs are visible. Their brewing equipment is further back in the building. Their taproom is open Fri & Sat, and brewery tours are given on Saturdays. Their beer offering is rather thin - just two regular beers (Alteration Alt Ale and Pale Dog Pale Ale), but they also create small batch "greenhouse" experiments which can be tasted at the brewery. I thought their Altbier was just average, and I hope that they expand their offering.
