You won't do much better than this for good beer. Such a great little place, with a very cool bartender who knows his stuff, fair prices, and an excellent and constantly rotated selection of taps, all Indianan.
The bar is perched above City Market. At night, it's a weird feeling, being above this cavernous center of commerce as it sits dormant. There's a long bar and there's plenty of seating.
$5 for 3 samples. All pints are $5.50. Sounds high, maybe, but most of the stuff is the higher gravity versions of the state's best brew. They also keep it very fresh. For instance, they had the Upland tripel on when I went, even though it had been out less than a week. The rest of the beers were from all over the state: Sun King, Three Floyds, Power House, New Albanian, etc.
They also do growler fills, but not for the limited release stuff.
Food consists of whatever you get from downstairs or, after hours, free bags of gourmet pretzel bits with mustard.
