This location of Sweetwater Tavern is as pleasant as the others. I’ve been here a few times in my travels out to Leesburg and surrounds. It's convenient to NOVA Community College. There's outdoor seating in a very nice setting with a water view. The barkeeps are friendly. The food is nice and the beer pleasant as well. The ribs are great as is the seared tuna salad. There's usually a fairly hoppy selection and a seasonal or two. Beers are 6-8 on tap.

I was at the Sweetwater Tavern yesterday, I’ve been here a few times as well as the tavern in Centreville, VA. It was a wonderful spring day, about 72 degrees outside. It was great weather for being at the outside bar that overlooks the man-made pond. The service was excellent throughout the evening. Six beers on tap that night, I tried three of them and found all of them to be over-carbonated for my taste. Beer price was what I expected. The food was pricey and was just ok; I had half a roasted chicken which was way too salty. One of the other guys had crab cakes and was spitting out shells during dinner. All in all it’s worth a visit if you’re in town.

Located in a very nice area in Northern Virginia. I stopped at this place with some family friends while I was visiting the area for an interview. The area around it is half rural, half business. The place itself sits right next to a lake, which shimmers in the sunset. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which I recommonend during nice weather. There is also an indoors and outdoors bar.

There are 7 or so (8 if you include the Snakebite Black & Tan) beers to choose from at a time. The actual beer list is not long, but they are obviously not all brewed at the same time. A sampler is available that offers five beers in small pilsner glasses.

The food is great, not what you would expect in a brewpub. It's a wide variety, everything from salad to seafood to steak. The food is a little pricey, while the beer is about average.
