And they do loads of special weekends, this weekend it was sour weekend, with loads of rare belgian and danish sour ales. Apart from the 15 taps, there is a very refined selection of spirits, only good stuff and they have their own organic sausages made. With malt and hops!
My only complaints so far is the acoustics (but they are supposedly being fixed)and the fact that this bar is way to close to home. Can be a bit crowded but if only people would get some manners...

The brand-new Beer Geek Mecca for Copenhagen, run by the Grand High Wizard of Danish craft brewing himself.

The Mikkeller Bar is unassuming and quite missable from the outside, tucked away on the lower ground floor on a sidestreet not far from the city centre. Inside it's bright and clean in that typical Scandinavian style familiar to anyone who's ever been in an Ikea.

The bar is small and occupies a corner of the handful of small rooms. The beer selection is anything but modest, however, packed with all the goods from Mikkel and his friends from across Europe and North America.

The fifteen taps are divided between ten house beers and five guests. The small-print bottle list is carefully hand picked, and includes luminaries like Cantillon, Lost Abbey, BrewDog, Three Floyds (several vintages of Dark Lord), Westvleteren and Nøgne Ø. There's a gravity-dispense cask on the bar too.

Prices for such rarities in Denmark are, of course, on the high side. However, there's no better place to geek out -- I mean *seriously* geek out -- on beer in Copenhagen.
