A great place to hang out, coffee house style. Bring food from anywhere and enjoy one of several unique beers. Often there are 10+ different in-house choices on tap. My only complaint is that they have such small batches, that if you find something you like, it probably won't be on tap next time. Staff is great knowledge to accommodate many questions, dole out quick samples, and suggest beer types based on other likes/dislikes.

Favorites Dutch Chocolate Coffee Stout, and Citra Pale Ale.

A wonderful place with lots of variety in brews and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am a local and can't begin to tell you how happy I was to find this place a little over a year ago. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the beer so good that I immediately joined the Mug Club and have been enjoying my beer out of my hand made mug ever since.

If you enjoy good craft beer I highly recommend you stop in and check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

This is a new brewery run by a great Husband and wife team. They are located in a renovated piano factory and the atmosphere is eclectic and fun with board games to play and darts. They have live music in the evenings most nights. The owners like to work together with local businesses and will commonly have Vanermill cider in their beer and you can go to the nearby pottery art business to make your own mug for the mug club. My only criticism is that they often will have too many wheat beers or summer beers on tap and not many variety beers. They generally have about 10-15 beers on tap, but they are still figuring out their market and production schedule and so they are often serving summers beers in the fall and winter and their IPAs leave something to be desired but their stouts and wheat beers are high quality. This will all work itself out as they are open longer, but the beer and the atmosphere is good and while they don't serve food (other than snacks), you can have it delivered or bring it in yourself which is better sometimes. Overall I give it a B+ and an A- for beer and my husband gives it a B+ and a B for beer. Defiantly worth the trip.

I'd tell you what to try here, but chances are they won't have any left by the time you get there. This micro makes everything in incredibly small batches and changes incredibly frequently, making every trip a new experience. Even repeat taps have some variation. Some past favorites have included the Imerial IPA that they call "Fussy", Black (rye) IPA. They are very liberal with samples and do offer a sampler tray. Not all beers are for everyone and they get some adventuresome brews on tap, so sampling is recommended.

The location itself feels like a coffee house. eclectic furniture, local art, complete lack of pretense. They don't serve food, but you are welcome to bring your own. You can also bring your own non-alcoholic beverages. I don't even think there is a sign out front, but go in the "piano factory" and you can't miss it. A very unique beer experience.
