On the outside, this is a odd 1960’s ice blue building, but inside it’s a pleasant surprise to arrive in a warm, bright, comfortable pub with a good pub atmosphere. It’s a real find, especially for this area. On the right is the bar and a large dining area and on the left is another large dining area. The floors are light-colored oak as are the tables, Queen Anne style chairs, and the U-shaped bar. Several of the tables have old painted intricate cast-iron pedestals. The walls are painted blue except for one wall of redwood planks. Windows at the back show the small brewery.

The decorations are beer-related: a great historic collection of early California microbrewery beer bottles, reprints of historic beer posters (e.g., Bert Grant), and posters of Six Rivers brews (quite innovative designs).

There were eleven beers available on our visit, ranging from standard ales to special beers, for example, Kona Coffee Porter, Chili Pepper Ale, and Raspberry Lambic.

The food menu looks like fairly standard pub fare but with some more special items (and oddly, cottage cheese as one of the available sides). However, the halibut taco and burger we had were definitely a cut above the usual.

I have visited this brewery seven times and it has never disappointed. They have good food, great staff and delicious beer. The IPA is especially good. If you're feeling adventurous try the chile ale it's very hot! I think the best thing about six rivers is the proximity to the brewing area, and the willingness of the owners/brewmasters to share their views on brewing and general beercraft. I think it makes a complete beer experience when I hear the background of how a beer was made and named from the brewmaster. I only have one complaint, and it's more of a suggestion. I wish they had seating on the roof to take advantage of the awesome ocean view!

We all know where the "Happiest Place on Earth" is, but now I have found quite possibly the "Loudest Place on Earth"....and that is the Six Rivers Brewing Company!!!
Thats not to say its a bad place but it is very noisy on any night when there is musical entertainment.
The staff tries their best to 'keep 'em coming'
and they do a good job of it for the most part. There is usually so many people in the place that its next to impossible for the poor workers to get to their clientele.
The beers are fine and dandy and the food is standard pub fare which is not a bad thing at all. Overall a good place to enjoy a nice refreshing malt beverage.

“The brew with a view”. The view is looking out over a coastal valley to the ocean and the brews include a broad array of house brewed styles. There is a central U-shaped light wood bar plus lots of table seating and a stage area. The brew room is visible through walk up glass windows toward the rear. Eleven taps were operating when we visited and I particularly enjoyed John Marley’s Ghost (an oak barrel aged imperial stout). The menu included appetizers, salads, typical pub fare and several upscale entrees in the evening. Unfortunately we opted for a fried appetizer sampler that was a bit too greasy. There is plenty of parking available in their lot.
