linkMade a detour and found our way to the tap room by way of the Hideaway in Chaseburg, WI. After stopping at the nearby Ice Cave, we were thirsty.
The brewery & tap room are located on a busy corner, with a freestanding building and parking lot. Inside it was very clean and modern, with cool glass lanterns hanging over the tables (10-15 in all). The bar was small with maybe 8 seats. They had 2 house brews on, the Tsunami Pale and Dorothy New World Lager. Other guest taps included SNPA, Boulevard Irish Ale, and Leinies Honey Weiss. Maybe 20 bottles in the cooler rounded out the selection. There was a board with 20-30 different rotating seasonals that they brew throughout the year, including a Bourbon Scotch Ale and Double IPA.
They do have food, but it's limited to snacks like curds, wings, and pizza (oven in back, but no kitchen on site).
Service was great, the bartender was friendly and informative. Mike was on hand to chat beer, and explained they are moving to a 300 gal. brewing system off site, in addition to brewing small batches for the tap room. This was a fun place to check out, and I hope to see more TG beers at fests in the future.
