I stopped at the Southport Brewing Company (aka SBC) on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The brewery is located about a block from what looked to be a main strip in Stamford. The facility is nice, and it has the appearance of a decent looking bar. They also serve food (presumably pub food, but I didn't look at the menu).

I ordered the flight and tried each of their own beers (they also have other fairly standard beers on tap). I was fairly unimpressed. The flight came with a blonde, Connecticut Pale Ale, English Pale Ale, Red, Brown, and a Stout. The Blonde had an off flavor to it and I didn't think it was appealing. The other beers were all drinkable, but not very flavorful. The Red wasn't very malty, the CT Pale Ale was the english pale ale w/ more hops, but the English Pale ale didn't taste like much. I was disappointed, and my next beer was Shipyard Pumpkin because I wasn't looking forward to having a pint of any of them.
