Just found this place this week on a tip from someone who works downtown. This place is in a narrow little spot on Elm. St. right in the middle of downtown. There are seven taps, all NC. The bottles are Highland, Cottonwood, Blowing Rock and the usual BMC suspects.

Beer is served in room temp glasses. Draughts were $3 when I was in. There is a nice, long bar with a couple of TVs. The music was a little much last night and it was karaoke night, so avoid Wednesdays if this appeals to you as much as it does me.

The owners, James and Darren are friendly and enthusiastic. The menu looks great. They look forward to adding taps and a long draw glycol system with keg storage in the basement. We were treated to some complimentary apps and they were delicious. All sauces are house-made.

Now that there is a place to get some Foothills draft downtown again, I'll be a regular. Selection is small, but quality.
