Pinocchio's is a combination pizzeria and beer store (the garden). They have a small parking lot and plenty of pay street parking nearby. Enter the restaurant, the kitchen is visible on the left, and there is an 8-chair laminated bar on the right with a couple flat screen televisions behind it. Past the bar, there is a 17 booth dining room which is suitable for family dining. The servers are friendly, but maybe a little too busy to be fully attentive. The prices are reasonable and the menu is average - apps pizza sandwiches pasta etc. Tiled floor, laminated table tops and white ceiling tiles are anti-upscale decor. The low ceilings contribute to overlapping acoustics from background pop music, televisions, kitchen clanging and family conversations. The atmosphere is atypical versus most craft beer bars, but the beer selection speaks for itself.

Between the bar (17 taps) and beer garden (7 taps) there are 24 draft beers from which to choose, a nice mix of regional and national craft brews. They don't serve flights but are happy to share a sample tasting if you ate unsure about ordering a particular beer. Although in the same building, the beer garden is physically separate from the pizzeria. The garden beer store has 13 refrigerator cases of over 800 different varieties for sale by the individual bottle, and mix-and-match six packs are available for sale. It is a very impressive site. It's a relatively small store, but there is a five chair wall bar and a small counter where you can enjoy a pint, or fill your growler.

Located within a family style pizzeria, Pinocchio's Beer Garden To Go has well over 800 beers available to purchase. Organized by brewery, the well lit glass front refrigerators display a selection that puts most other liquor stores in the area to shame. While scanning the shelves, be sure to have a sample from one of the many draft beers the store has to offer, most of which are available for growler fills.

While the selection is amazing, and the location is perfect, the crown jewel of Pinocchio's is the customer service. At no other beer store in the area will you find a more knowledgeable staff who is willing to spend time explaining the beers available. And if you're lucky, you may even have the chance to taste one of the many rarities hidden behind the counter.

Pinocchio's Beer Garden To Go is a must stop for anyone driving down I476 through Pennsylvania, and should be one of your fist stops in finding that special brew which has eluded you for so long.
