linkThe Oasis is Sac Brew’s second brewpub located; just east of Sacramento in Citrus Heights. The theme is Ancient Egyptian with illustrations and hieroglyphs quoting from the Precepts of Ani: “Make not thyself helpless in drinking in the beer shop … for thy companions in the swilling of beer, they will get up and say ‘Outside with this Drunkard’”.
The bar area in front includes both tall table and booth seating. There is a separate dining area plus a patio to the back with lots of additional seating. When I visited there were 10 house brews on tap. I enjoyed the British ESB seasonal “Petersen Pride”. The menu includes typical pub fare plus a nice selection of salads, pastas, sandwiches, steak and other upscale entrees. Sac Brew Oasis is located in a shopping complex so there is plenty of free parking.
