Tamura is a long time family market on Oahu that includes traditional markets as well as some wine & liquor stores such as this location. The small store is tucked into an inside corner of the Aikahi Park Shopping Center. The center isles are dedicated to wine and liquor but in the back right corner are some shelves and coolers dedicated to beer.
The selection ranges from a large number of imports, some BMCs, a good array of regional six packs and bombers (many Rogue varieties) to several exotic, limited productions US and import brews. (I picked up Black Butte XXI, Abyss and Sierra Nevada Estate). Prices are not unreasonable considering shipping costs.
There is also a small deli counter that is a great place to pick up a quick bite and ample parking is available in the center’s lot. This is a nice alternative to the larger brew stores in town.
