Not sure what terrorzord's problem is, but East Wake Wine and Craft Brew is a very good, albeit small, beer store, especially for East Wake County. Finding good beer is not easy on this side of Raleigh and EWW&CB does a great job of offering a great selection with a knowledgeable owner and decent pricing. Yes, Ken sells wine and has more wine than beer, but c'mon, he needs to make a living somehow, and out here in Eastern Wake County, Craft beer isn't going to pay the bills (go ask your corporate chain store Total Wine about that!). Ken always has 2 kegs in the store and rotates them almost every week. If he doesn't have something, he will get it for you quickly, and he is always on top of some of the latest beers coming out, especially local NC beers. Don't go to Lowe's for your craft beer, support your locals! Great selection, excellent service, cheap tastings of new kegs every week. EWW&CB is a great store.

This is a pretentious wine store that has a little rack in the back with few beers, albeit decent ones, for the husbands that get dragged into this place by their wives. They have lovely tables set up throughout this small shop composed of necklaces draped over wine bottles. Who ever heard of a beer store that sells friggin jewelry? Go to the Lowes Foods across the parking lot for a better selection. They should be ashamed of their sign touting beer.

East Wake is a small shop whose focus is wine, but they have a pretty good craft beer selection.

While the selection is limited in terms of quantity, they more than make up for it in the quality of their offering.

The shop owner is very knowledgeable and makes great suggestions. He's also open to taking requests.

The best part is, they sell singles, both warm and cold. Makes it easier to pick out new beers to try.
