This brewery is in a renovated train station and has cool decor. They have a good Raspberry ale. Has a small 8 barrel brew system. Seasonal ESB, cool coasters. Wood tables and booths. The Porter has a good creaminess. Spinach artichoke dip was good but small portion for $6.95. The Terminator Stout is light for style but good. The food portions are small for the price, fries are homemade but small portion. Nice decor and atmosphere and friendly staff.

As you can tell by the name, this used to be the train station in Roseburg. This can be easily discerned from the shape and materials employed (red brick and plaster) and the building has been nicely restored. The main room provides restaurant seating in what presumably used to be the main waiting room. There are wooden tables and chairs as well as booths. The ceilings are high and there are tall windows, ceiling fans, and interesting hanging light fixtures (several are made from old wagon wheels). On one side is an old wood-burning stove that at least looks like it could have been in the old station and is still in use. Off the main area are the kitchen, the brewery, and a small, dark bar area. There’s also a very pleasant outdoor area in the back with green plastic tables and chairs and umbrellas as well as an outdoor fire pit and propane heaters. It’s right next to the railroad tracks but is buffered by plants. Trains do come by occasionally (once when we’ve visited) but they add to the atmosphere of this former station, and the experience is reminiscent of past times.

The beers are standard McMenamins, in other words, nothing outstanding, but reliable. When we visited there were the regular ale lineup of 6 beers and a few specials.

The food is the same standard American/McMenamins menu of burgers, sandwiches, soup, salad, and specials and once again, reliable if not outstanding.

The feeling in the place is very much a local place with a comfortable atmosphere and family-friendly. On our visits we’ve seen business people, families, as well as groups of young people.

This brewpub is in the old railroad station. There is a small bar area with several tables and a larger dining area in the old waiting room. In addition the former boarding area has outdoor seating (next to the tracks). The taps include many of the standard McMenamins brews plus some unusual styles from the small onsite brewery. I tried the Bock Around the Clock which was medium dark and hearty. The menu had a nice selection of salads and typical pub fare. Parking is available in the adjacent lot.
