linkPlace is in a slightly defunct mall/office building concept. A very empty feeling walking through to the brewery. A non-smoking restaurant on the 1st floor that looks really nice. Has a small bar area, but when I was there it didn't look like it was used as a bar, more of a large group sitting area. 2nd floor is a smoking bar area and the brewing works. Wanting to watch football, I sat up there.
On tap where a couple of wheats, a blonde, an amber, & a porter. Blonde was good. Light golden well balanced beer, the porter was weaker than I expected and a lot like the amber, except in color. Both had a slight sour note in taste & first smell. Past that alright beer. I had a pizza which was good sized and tasty. Past the smokiness of the place, not a bad stop.
