linkGroveland is probably my favorite beer destination on the St. Paul side (with stiff competition from Happy Gnome and Cheeky Monkey, although all 3 have very different vibes, so it's more about my mood than any of them being superior.)
They have an awesome beer selection, including the widest array of Summit outside the brewery.
The service is as good as it can be, considering an awkward layout to the building and a near-constant crowd. If they added any more waitresses, they'd have to ride each other piggy-back. The food is top-notch pub grub, especially the Friday fish fry. (If you want the fish on Friday, go early. Seriously. It's freakin' mayhem from about 5:00 until the kitchen is sucked dry.)
