This brewery is located in downtown Madison, right across the street from the town square. We seemed to confuse the waitress when we showed up in a group of 5 and each one of us ordered a sampler of 7 beers. They had to send out a couple in different glasses because we consumed their entire supply. Also, the contraption for carrying the beers only held 6 of the 7, so they had to bring our last one out separately.

Otherwise, the beers were overall very good. My favorites were the oktoberfest lager and Seven, their IPA.

The atmosphere was good. There was a decent crowd, and everyone was enjoying themselves.

Newer location of the two Cornerstone Brewery locations. Restored warehouse type building, nicely restored. Brick building with dark wood bar. Split in two sides, one for dining, the other more of a bar/tavern side.

Haven't been to a Cornerstone location in a few years. I was quite impressed by the beer quality vs what I remember in the past. Seven, their IPA was much better than I remember. They also had about 3 specialty brews, with a particularly good oatmeal stout in the mix. Overall, the beer quality was quite solid. Also brew their own root beer which was worth a taste also.

They have a full menu, but I did not eat on my trip other than appetizers.


The brewery is located in a small town square with parking located on the street right out front. Their is a small patio located out front. Easy to get to only a short drive off I-90.
