linkNeither food nor environment is fancy here and the craft beer selection is minimal, BUT you are in Gold Beach and it’s a well-loved local place that tolerates visitors. And the food has a lot of home-made touches, such as special spicy shrimp cocktail sauce and whole-wheat dough for the pizzas.
There are several tall tables and chairs in the lounge and a wooden bar with stools. From the bar stools you get a great view of the ocean at a distance, looking through windows decorated with various glass ornaments. Other decorations are mostly nautical - glass floats and a circular window on the door - and include a sign “Beer: Now cheaper than gasoline, so don’t drive....drink”.
The beer selection was: Mendocino Red Tail, Deschutes Black Butte Porter, Coors, and Dos Equis.
