This was a big priority on my list of Northern Michigan breweries, so I was happy to get there. It was a bit far up the peninsula, but worth the trip. Drove for awhile thinking it wasn't really there - then it suddenly appeared after rows and rows of expensive homes.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a more interesting draft selection - Bam Noire and Bam Biere were the only two. Nothing seasonal or tap room-only. Other selections were available by the bottle at $12 a pop!

Wait was 45 minutes on a Thursday night in July for my family of 5.

Waiter suggested a Black and Bam (Noire and Biere - think black and tan) which was good.

Food was okay - interesting pizzas - and the standard kids menu stuff.

It was one I can say that I've been to, but not somewhere I'd make a point of going back to.

I have been here twice now. As a frequent visitor to the area i was stoked to hear this was coming to TC. Its on old Mission peninsula which a narrow strip of land that jaunts up from TC into the Bay.

It is behind Bowers Harbor Inn which has been here for a long time it was called "The Bowery" prior. This new facility is where Jolly is brewing and bottling the North Peak line that they are starting to sell in MI stores. They also brew other beers for sale on tap in the restaurant.

All Jolly Pumpkin standard that we are use to are brought up from Dexter and put on tap in Old Mission.

The food is bar type stuff with a nice selection of hand made individual size pizzas. The have nice happy hour specials as well (pizza and a pint for 9.95)(Pizza to go and a growler 14.95) Soups and salad also with a few full entree's

Beer selection on tap has been 2 JP's from Dexter and 5-6 house brews that are brewed on site, they had a Ginger beer this weekend which was unusual and worthy of a small glass. Also sell most of JP's 22oz bottles all at 12$ each, North peak bottle on sale in 6 packs or singles (11.5 oz stubby bottles) A wide selection of glasses and shirts etc for sale too..

Its a nice place but is out of the way but worth heading up to and trying it out.. I am a big fan of what JP does with there beers and loved to have them on tap!
