linkThis brewery is located in a very historic part of Richmond called Shockoe Slip. If you like historical buildings, just walking down this street is a treat. Unfortunately there is limited off-street parking, there are a few lots of couple of blocks away which are a little expensive.
They had 8 beers on tap with a special Wit and Barleywine on tap when I was there. The Barleywine is supposed to be quite good, but I did not try it. I drank the stout and porter, both were ok, not bad, just not particularly memorable. They also make rootbeer, again, definitely worth a try but not the best I have had.
The food menu is pretty typical pub fair, I had fish and chips, which were good.
Inside, the place is nice, very classic looking bar.
