Beers are OK here, nothing to go out of your way to get. The typically have the IPA, Pale and Golden, sometimes a brown or stout. The IPA is a little on the light side of hops, could be called a hoppy Pale. Food looks reasonable, but haven't tried it, yet. There are sometimes only 3 beers on tap. A few outdoor tables, but the front of the place has roll up doors so the place is open and airy. There is a stage in the back and bands play later in the evening, but don't really draw a crowd during week nights.

Colorado Brewing Company and the Boulder Draft House are located just north of downtown Boulder near the corner of Spruce and 13th. A remodel from the former Red Fish pub has resulted in the bar being moved to the front of the space with more dining space in back near the brewery and stage.

Beer selection features regulars: Folsom Gold (and excellent example of a Kölsch), Alpenglow Amber, 44 Pale Ale, Feisty Fiddler IPA, Big Bella Brown, and Java Stout. The current seasonal is Summer Bock. All beers are very good. My favorites during the last two trips to the area were Folsom Gold and the Pale Ale.

The food offerings are described as "comfort style". I have tried the Pitts-Burgher (shaved prime rib, provolone, cole slaw, tomato, and waffle fries on the sandwich) and the pork tenderloin entree. Both were quite tasty. I even ordered the pork tenderloin on a subsequent visit. A cup of the pork green chili makes for an excellent starter.

There are some TV screens throughout but they aren't overdone. A stage in the back near the brewery is host to bands at night. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive.

Parking in downtown Boulder is available at metered street spaces or municipal garages/lots. When not taking RTD I usually park a couple blocks away at the RTD transit station. All of the downtown spots are easily accessible within a couple blocks.
