Definitely one of the best beer bars in the Treasure Valley. They have a large selection of beer on tap and also have a cask conditioned beer that changes monthly.

The staff is fairly knowledgeable about the beer styles. They offer a taster if you're not sure you want a full pint. The service is also friendly and attentive.

The food is also very good and high quality. They serve a wide variety from standard pub fare (burger, fries, wings) as well as steak and sea food.

Although I really like this place (and frequent it regularly), I would like to see a greater variety in the beer selection. Most of beers come from the northwest. Once in a while there is a Belgian beer. I would like to see a better representation of German, English/Irish/Scottish and Belgian beers.

This is, hands down, my favorite non-brewery beer bar anywhere. It is a gem! Check out the website to get a feel for it. I have been coming here for years and will continue to come back as long as I can.

There are over 40 beers on tap, and not just any beers; exotic styles from some of the best breweries in the West can be found here (often Deshcutes, Rogue, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Grand Teton and more). The have a rotating cask-conditioned offering as well. There are often so many good choices that getting a sampler mat is the best option. Best beer selection in the state of Idaho!

The food cannot be praised enough. Though they do have the typical kinds of pub fare, they specialize in much finer foods. They make excellent prime rib and steaks and often offer delicious seafood dishes as well. If you want more "comfort" food, then they make the best hot wings, club sandwiches and bread pudding desserts anywhere.

The service is always very good; the servers are well versed in the exotic menu and their copious beer offerings. Even better, there are a couple of servers that are absolutely fantastic. They make my day when I get to be served by them!

Though the place can get busy on the weekends, it never gets as loud as many of the other beer joints I frequent (The Ram, Highland's Hollow, Table Rock). So (most of the time) it's a great place to go have a good conversations with a small group of friends.

I've marked it as "inexpensive" because, while not actually cheaper than other restaurants, the quality of what you get here is so excellent you'll feel like you got a bargain. You must try this place!
