Why hasn't everyone been to the Admiral? (Probably because you never knew it was there.)

The Admiral is on Haywood on the West side of town in a building that looks like something you would have your oil changed inside of. The entrance is unassuming and the only indicator it isn't just a building are the colorful diamonds near the top of the white building. Finding a place to park generally means looking somewhere on the street.

A word to the wise, The Admiral is a small joint with limited seating so come early. The place is a foodies delight with a menu which changes on a daily basis and to the whim of the chef. One side is bar and kitchen which is open to the restaurant. I believe it seats 40 or so at 8 to 10 tables with some additional seating outside and at the bar.

On draft they generally only carry a single beer, Wedge IPA. They do have a strong bottle list, but it is a short list. You basically come here for the food and the beer is your second reason for staying.

Getcha some, I try to hit this place as often as possible.
