What a find! This is one of the coolest places I've visited. Nothing like enjoying a pint while overlooking a waterfall on a warm fall afternoon. They've got a great selection of beers for a small brew pub. Nightmare on Main St., a pumpking cream ale, was excellent! I also really liked their best seller, River Rat, a malty, well balanced amber ale. I was also informed that they are starting a mug club and half price growler day. Too bad I don't live a little closer, but I'll definately go back!

What a great place. A historic grist mill, overlooking the river and waterfall, converted into a restaurant, bar and brewery. The place is very scenic, with much history. There is a wide variety of good food and beer. They have 8 different beers to choose from and the beer list changes from time to time. All the beers are good, I liked the Garrett's Gold Lager and the Double I.P.A The Harvest Moon Lager and '35 Exrta Stout are fantastic. Try a sampler served on a wooden waterwheel, how unique.

What do you get when you mix a great location in the idyllic Western Reserve town of Garrettsville, OH, a historic building next to a very active waterfall, a young cuss with a chemists' head and a passion for the outcome of brewing? Near perfection. If only they would serve the REAL BEER ONLY and not offend their patrons (and the brewer) with Bud Less and Coors Silver Bullcrap next to this guys APA and stout. Try one of their great "made on premises" soups and the Rueben, they go down great with any one of Virgil's brews. I'll go for the soups and come back for the brew. "Good on ya lad" Keep up the good public works, we are happier for it.

What a great find! Great beer & food in an atmosphere that's hard to beat. I loved the English style double IPA dubbed Wayne Kuhrs Beware. It weighs in at 8.2% with 112 IBU, but it doesn't taste like what you would expect. The oak really balanced the hop flavor. It's surprisingly smooth & drinkable. I hear that the Christmas ale, 12 Daze of Christmas, will be returning soon. I can't wait!

This place was a real find. It is really close to nothing and not the easiest place to get to (over an hour from the west side of Cleveland, probably close to an hour from Youngstown), but definitely worth a drive from either.

The brewery is located in an old mill, there is a historical plate outside dating 1804. It is a cool location, right along a river and a small waterfall. The brewery is an old building with very high ceiling, the brewing tanks are located upstairs and can be seen from the dining room. Parking is available on the steet outside.

The menu is very extensive and definitely diverse. Tried the pork tenderlein and coconut chicken. Both were excellent. They have plenty of appetizers, full dinners and a good sandwich selection, definitely worth the drive for the food.

Brings me to the beer, also an excellent selection. 8 beer sampler was only $10 and the samples were very generous. The selection was pretty diverse, the best options seemed to the special options - DD - dunkelweiss was excellent, Reluctant Reverand Ale and '35 Extra Stout were also very very good. Also offered a light beer, amber ale, edelweizen, dry irish stout and ale with a slight rasberry flavor.

Overall, highly recommend the drive to this place if you are ever in Northeast OH.
