Thanks to this place I can enjoy an Ayinger Jahrhundert on Metra on the way home from work. The selection rivals any of the good beer stores in the Chicago area. They've got a great selection of American craft brews plus Belgian, German and Czech classics and hard-to-find brews. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and if he doesn't have something in stock he'll get it in for you. Craft beer selection is in the back near the cooler. Don't miss the end-cap of Belgian 750ml's.

linkInteresting little corner of the world. Suburban strip malls sometimes tell you everything and nothing at the same time...Definitely not a place to be judged by it's cover. Be sure to take a look at their selection of over 350 beers on their website. They obviously aren't a high volume store, so it isn't likely you will find every last current seasonal here.
Typical liquor store with an atypical selection (just look at the photos on their website). You may find such obscurities as Wosyntje and Oerbier alongside Founders Centennial IPA and Half Acre, right across from the Bud/Clamato cans. Full line of 5 Southern Tier and some FFF (Moloko, Behemoth, Dreadnaught) on the front endcap. There were some obscure imports such as Saison Erpe'Mere, a few Italian craft 750's, Unibroue, and De Dolle. Also 3 Rochefort, 4 Hitachino, 3 St. Bernardus, 4 Val Dieu, 3 Kasteel, 2 Westmalle, 8 Sam Smith, 7 Weihenstephaner, etc. You don't see these at your typical strip mall liquor store, that's for sure, but be sure to check dates & dust. The guy at the counter was friendly and appreciative of the craft beer business. Check it out if you're near the airport, definitely a respectable selection resides here.
Also be sure to check out Chowpatti Vegetarian Restaurant if you're in the area for some excellent Indian food, and Mitsuwa Marketplace for all things Japanese.
Bottom line, support the little guy. If local business aren't patronized, soon there won't be any left.
