This place is fantastic. The beer selection is always always top notch, and they get great beer from all around the country. I also think they just started brewing their own beer in conjunction with Thunder Canyon, which is a Tucson brewery. The pizza is also huge and delicious. They give you a pizza cutter and a fork as your utensils. The only complaint is that it can get crowded occasionally, and are generally understaffed. That said, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and will chat with you if they aren't swamped. If you're in Tucson and you love beer, 1702 should definitely be on your agenda

This is THE place to go in Tucson for beer. Awesome selection (mostly west coast and Colorado), fair prices. The only complaint I have is that *sometimes* they don't use proper glassware. That coupled with not listing alcohol content of their beer can give you an unpleasant surprise if you're driving home...

Their food is good, but the choices are limited. Large slices of pizza (also available as whole pies) and giant salads. The hop bread is interesting, and good if you are REALLY into hops. I like it, but everything else I know that's tried it said it was too much for them.

Wow, this place is great. Awesome tap list (30 taps I think) and a small bottle list. The prices on the taps are very reasonable, I don't think anything was more than 5$ a pour, although the size varied.

The pizza was great as well - the slices are outrageously huge, and very tasty. They occasionally have Hop Garlic Bread which they describe as "eating an IPA." They were out of hops on our visits, sadly.

If you're looking for a rare or popular with the geeks beer on draft, this is the place to go in Tucson. We found NB La Folie as well as Eric's Ale and plenty others. Most if not all the locals are represented ( I definitely saw Nimbus and Barrio, don't remember about Thunder Canyon) as well as plenty of beer from California and Colorado.
