I came here in the dead of winter, so missed the patio. They have two rooms, both have full drink and food service. The difference is that one is more of a sport-bar with big screen TV's, high tables, and a large bar - the other is much more like a dining room. They have 5 standard beers and, when I went, an additional 5 seasonals. They have just a few guest taps. The beers I sampled (IPA, Pale, Tart Cherry Stout) were all very high quality - the IPA stood out as (American style). As a couple of other reviews noted, the food is outstanding. Everyone at our table of 5 had something different and we all raved about it. I had a simple (I thought) BLT wrap - but it was superb. Seems like a great place to have a few beers and a good meal.

The Pumphouse in Longmont has great parking just behind the building and you can enter through the back door. They have a nice beer bottle collection in the hallway. They have outdoor seating and plenty of room inside. The beers run from the normal, red, white,IPA and a stout. But the do not miss is the seasonal and specialty beers. On one trip I was lucky enough to get a pint of maple vanilla porter. It was like having pancakes and beer. Yes it worked the flavors just fit. The food is good try the Reuben, its good. Overall a good place to get a beer and lunch.

plenty of parking available when we went on a summer saturday afternoon. We sat outside on the patio. the servers were prompt and polite. the food was pretty awesome for all three of us. i had the spicy caribbean chicken which was pretty exotic for bar fair- mangos, peppers, onion, tomato, and a siracha/mayo sauce. the salmon sandwich and the chile rellenos (sp?) were also good. The beer was pretty good. i got the seasonal sampler. most were pretty good. a really strong white, like 9%. a passionfruit mango wheat that was a little too fruity for me. an interesting vanilla porter. good vibe. good food. decent enough beer.

I enjoyed this restaurant but I can't find a reason to go back, or to recommend that someone go out of their way to visit.

The food was pretty standard, sandwiches and burgers and fries. The beer styles were also pretty standard, with a wheat beer and an IPA, again nothing special. The atmosphere was corporate like someone trying to make it special but not quite succeeding. So there's just not a reason to go unless you're in the area.

The waitress insisted on seeing my ID before she would serve me beer. (I passed my 40th birthday some time ago.)

One nice touch is the aroma of hops, pretty strong where I sat. Another is the no-smoking rule even on the patio. On a nice spring afternoon, many bars have patios that are de facto smoking secitons since the state bars indoor smoking at restaurants. At this place, smoking is not allowed on the patio either.

Kids menu available. Not much parking.

From the main bar with the fireplug taps and fermenters above to little details like a fireman’s jacket hanging on a hook in the hall, we really enjoyed the firehouse theme. There is a fair size bar with several tall tables and additional table seating nearby plus a large outside patio that was packed (good spring weather day in the Rockies). There were 8 house brews on tap including 3 seasonals. I stuck with the standards and enjoyed a Red Alert and a Pyro Porter. The menu included a good selection of appetizers, salads and sandwiches. There is a large public parking lot out back but even that was full with the lunch crowd. A treat we discovered while exiting through the back door is the nice collection of beer bottles displayed on shelves along the wall.
