BJs is a restaurant with a pretty good beer selection. They give off the image of being a brew-pub, but none of their beers are actually brewed on site. Their line of BJs beers are okay and the wait-staff really tries to push them. They do have a few dozen other beers on tap, such as Fullers London Pride, Unibroue Trois Pistoles, Swamphead Big Nose, and several others. They have even more bottle selections that are generally fairly constant. The wait-staff isn't very knowledgeable about the beer and often they don't even know whats on tap.

Its a fun place to hang out and get good beers on the west side of Gainesville. However, the food isn't very good. Fortunately the beer and atmosphere outweigh the blah food.

Visited this restaurant while visiting my parents in Florida.

They had seven house beers on tap, and I was looked at sort of strangely when I ordered the 7 beer sample (although it was lunch time on a Tuesday, maybe they thought I should be working.) Overall the beer was quite tasty, nothing outstanding, but everything was very drinkable. On top of this, they had decent selection of micro brews from all over, on both tap and in bottles.

Food was also really good, everyone left full and everything was tasty.
