Located in a classic 20’s era bank building, BBC’s historic image continues with 2 traditional dark wood bars as well as many stained glass panels and lamps from tiffany and other famous studios. There is plenty of seating at the main floor bar and in the adjacent table areas. The smaller upstairs bar is open on busy nights and for special events. The substantial tap and bottle list includes both American craft brews and a variety of imports. I enjoyed a draft Old 38 from North Coast and a bomber of Lion Stout from Sri Lanka. The menu has an array of upscale dinner entrees mixed with several classic pub selections. There is parking on the street or in the basement garage at Menlo Center. The CalTrain station is just a few steps away.
