This place was ok. Not cheap at all. It's an expensive steak restaurant in a bit of a trashy setting. They sat us in the very back in a huge room all by ourselves so we didn't really get much of atmosphere. There was live music but we couldn't hear it from where we were.
Beer was average, none of the ones we tried were great representations of the style. Overall I don't think I'd make the trek back to this one but it was fun to go once.

Pinnacle Peak Patio is a must visit if you are in the Scottsdale area. It dates back fifty years and has grown from a roadside grocery to a classic cowboy steakhouse. They have a strict necktie policy with over a million examples on display, snipped from offending patrons. There are several large dining rooms and a large patio area with picnic table seating. The bar area is small and tucked in a corner near the brewery. Pinnacle’s relationship with Sonoran Brewing is a little unclear to me because the brewery was closed when we visited for dinner. The bartender indicated that Sonoran was located at the Pinnacle Peak Brewery but all of the house brews came from Pinnacle taps (about 10 of them). The server couldn't provide a tap list but suggested a brown or a stout when I asked for a dark brew. As a result, I didn’t get to taste any standard Sonoran brews but the Pinnacle Gunslinger Stout went fine with my wrangler steak. There’s country western music nightly and a big parking lot out front.
