linkCopenhagen on a Sunday afternoon can be a tough one for the beer tourist. Even with the most relaxed drinking laws in Scandinavia, Danes aren't in a hurry to open the pub shutters on Sundays. Fortunately, there's a Plan B: open from 10am 7 days a week.
It's a relaxed sort of place, more reminiscent of a hipster coffee shop than a bar, all sofas and bric-a-brac, with a cool, mellow vibes on the sound system and free wi-fi.
The fridge is very well stocked with bottles from the Danish breweries and beyond, while eight taps squeezed onto the tiny counter pour an ever-changing variety of hand selected craft beers.
There's food of the snacks-and-sandwiches variety, and the staff are friendly.
This isn't somewhere to come for big crowds, raucous antics and quaffing pints. But for some considered sipping of high quality beers while engaging in civilised conversation or reading the papers, this is one of the best spots in the city.
