A brewery run by husband and wife on the eastern most point of Oregon. The town is something you might stay in passing through, but the brewery is not close to food or lodging. Located in the industrial section of Ontario, hidden down a road you almost miss, you will find Beer Valley. Brewer is a cool dude who let us check out his set up one evening on the first visit. Talked beer, festivals, etc, etc. We were treated to samples then we purchased bottles, growlers and shirts to go. They don't have a tap room set up so you just need to knock on the door when you get there. Try to call ahead to make sure someone is there. Amber, Pale, IPA, Stout, Barleywine are what I remember. Amber and pale are enjoyable, IPA - Leafer Madness was a fresh hop version so it killed as did the Black flag stout, probably one of the hoppiest stouts I have ever had. Barleywine I think was pretty good as my palate was completely wrecked at that point. If you're in the area stop in to at least sample because I think you will be pleased. I look forward to my next trip up, around June.
