Mary’s Pizza Shack has been a popular family restaurant in Sonoma County for nearly 50 years. They have long since outgrown the original shack and there are now locations in several NorCal counties but the new Roseville location is the first to include an on-site brewery. There is a bar in front of windows looking into the brewing room with some additional table seating. A larger dining area is just inside the door along with several outdoor tables on the front walkway. Four house brews are currently on tap and while I enjoyed the Testarosa Red, I preferred the hoppier character of the Pazo Pale Ale. They expect to add a seasonal and perhaps a darker standard once they work through the initial operating glitches. The menu includes delicious pizzas, salads and pasta with a few sandwiches and Italian entrees thrown in for good measure. There is plenty of parking in the lot out front.
