Beer selection was 9 beers on my last visit, 8 standard , one cask... I had the common, stout, and vintage 02 barleywine (they are currently lowering their stock on vintage barleywines at the moment) Common was very ambery initally but mellowed out nicely as it drank down, the stout was like a rauch... the barleywine felt like a week past it's prime, it was pouring and drinking nicely. The cask was an ipa...

The bar is partitioned into two sections, lterally by a large wooden partition. the bar seats about 20ish with table seating in the bar section for another 40 or so... the restaurant section, had seating for like another 100 or so... this place was a brewery/restaurant tho... not vice versa., someone takes care of the beer here and it shows... There are things to look at all around the bar... coasters adorn a large mirror to the far end of the l-shaped bar, and also around other parts of the bar, nice selection of past and present breweries...
the bathrooms aren't very interesting but it's a family place. it's nestled into a very nice little section of town and seems to be doing well as we arrived a little after it opened the bar area was packed, I assume the evening business is more so that the spillover into the dining room is probably great.

They answered questions like, how long has this place been open? 14 years... that was a shocker. Not the oldest place in indiana, but not too shabby.... we had other questions and they were answered, and our beers were never empty... so service was good.

I marked smoking in this place, but there's no smoking allowed until after 9 pm.

and they're bottling as of a few weeks ago, common and stout. 8 bucks a sixer.

they serve both short pours and imperial pints... samples are 5 oz and are a buck and a quarter.
