It's an unassuming little off licence from the outside. Inside it's clean and brightly light, with a surprisingly large floor space. Of course, most of the shelving is given over to wine, and in the back corner there are a couple of tall fridges stocked with the usual canned macrobrews.
Decently, the good beer selection is kept separately in an open fridge unit by the door. They don't get much space, so there'll only be one row of most varieties in sight. There won't be anything that can't be got in any of the bigger specialty beer shops -- with Germany, the UK and the US being the main countries represented -- but since the alternative is trekking over to Ranelagh or Camden Street, this place is very useful to know about if you're in the area.
I've heard bad stories about the service (paper bags are for wine only, apparently), so it's not somewhere to chew the fat with the management on the latest imports. But when you just need to grab-and-go, it's great.
