This brewery is the same but it is actually called Kelley's Island Brewpub now. Nice location to sit and watch boats on Lake Erie on a summer day. Also has a large bar area if its raining and you need to sit inside. Most people drive golf carts around this island after taking a ferry ride over. You don't need transportation to get here, it is only about 3 blocks from the ferry station.
Overall, I was surprised by the beer selection. They actually had no wheat/summer style ales which is what I would expect from a resort location brewpub, especially in the summer. This place has 5 beers on tap, a regular belgian, double belgian, IPA, pale ale and brown ale. The belgians were very flavorful. The IPA had an unusual mouth feel, but a lingering hop flavor. The brown was decent, nothing special. Overall, for me, the selection was a good surprise, but that may not be the case if you are looking for a refreshing summertime beer.

Food menu is very standard pub fare with featured Lake Erie fish. Nothing to write home about.

This place was interesting. I got there late on my first day on the Island, just in time to buy a beer before they closed (I believe it was around 8pm, if not earlier). They're also closed all winter. I had the Anglers Ale, an english bitter. It was tasty, but nothing spectacular.

The next morning, we stopped in for breakfast (although no beers this time). Once again, the breakfast hit the spot, but the quality was average at best.

It's hard to beat the atmosphere on the Island though, so big points for that.
