linkThe best bars in Amsterdam are the ones so tiny it can be worth queuing at opening time to get in. All of them are worth taking a chance on at any time, however.
Gollem is on three tiny floors, with the bar on the ground level, toilets in the basement and a mezzanine up a rickety flight of stairs which offers superb views over the bar and across to the blackboard frieze which constitutes the beer menu. Like most places of this sort, the rarest and oddest beers are often unavailable, but the selection here should keep all but the most world-weary beer drinker happy.
