This rickety little emporium really knows its market. Situated right across the road from Gollem (qv) the window display is stacked high with crates of Westvleteren, and a delivery bike, similarly laden, sits out in the alley in case you missed the other subtle hints at what lies within.
The shelves are densely packed, mostly with Belgian and Dutch beers -- all the Struise and DuPont and 't IJ and De Molen you can handle. I saw a few other nationalities spread around the creaking shelves, but I was never sure if they were stock or decoration.
Of course, I could have asked the extremely helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic shop assistant, but my arms were already full.
Not quite as well-stocked as De Bierkoning (qv) but far more charming.
