If you have a craving for a taste of New England beer and seafood, this is the place to go. Not only the menu offerings but also the decor come from there. There is no bar, but all seating is on laquered white pine picnic tables.
There are 8 taps that usually include 4 New England brews. Unfortunately the Sea Dog tap was dry when I visited but Shipyard and Allagash were available and I enjoyed an Old Thumper (Shipyard's version) and a Paulaner Octoberfest. In addition, there are Anchor Porter and Devils Canyon Lager Diablo if you prefer something local.
The menu is a bit pricey because most seafood is flown in from Maine. That makes the dinners, lobster rolls and seafood salads pretty authentic (they even use Hellmann's mayo).
