The place is easy to find and there is parking in the rear. Been there several times and always had good service and the food is very good. Atmosphere is a little too dark and cold for my taste but overall pretty cool. The backlit lighted bar looks great from a distance but blinding and really annoying when seated there. Most of the beers I've tried have been very good. Their rendition of the old Allentown Nueweilers beer recipe is excellent. One of my favorites anywhere. Any concern about safety in Allentown is just a bad rap the city can't seem to shake. Worth the trip.

Definitely a pain in the ass to get to. Parking is difficult but we lucked out and managed to get a spot right in front of the place. Upon entering I got no warm & fuzzy vib. The place is too "industrial" for my tastes. I had a bock which wasn't bad and another beer that wasn't too memorable. The bartenders seemed to be too busy bird-dogging the young ladies at the bar. Maybe if I worked close by and could walk there it might be better. All in all, it was too much effort to go to a place I did not feel comfortable in. I doubt I'll be back.

Allentown Brew Works is located on a one way street in Allentown, PA. It was not difficult to find, but could be a pain to park in front of on a busy day. Allentown is not the safest of cities so plan to park close if going.
The place was spotlessly clean and our service was almost TOO attentive. The guy tried really, really hard and gave excellent service, with some beer knowledge, but with a bit more beer knowledge he could have been perfect. Of course if I return I would prefer to have him working my table so I'd know my service would be working toward perfection.
The beer list was ok, but a few were MIA and only 8 or so were listed. Apparently more were in the tanks and waiting upstairs, but it would be nice if everything was at hand instead of a wink-wink nudge-nudge type of arrangement. The food here was much better than the sister establishment over in Bethlehem.
This was a really nice pub, one I would visit again.
