We stopped in around lunchtime for a bite to eat and to sample their beers. Alas, they don’t open until four. We did meet one of the Chefs on the way in. He was carrying a very large pumpkin that was about to be the evening’s soup. He introduced us to the owner who was trying to install a bottling line in the basement while dealing with an account manager. Despite this he took the time to talk to us and show us around the brewpub. Since they weren’t open for business we couldn’t get any beer or food so we settled for a 12 pack of pale ale for the road, well after we got off the road. The pale ale was the only style in bottles at the time. They have 11 beers on tap now and an 8-beer sampler flight is $13.50. They have an extensive menu that seems pretty upscale. They also have a separate, smaller lounge menu if you’re not real hungry or can’t get a table in the restaurant.

Upscale brew pub. I felt like I was in a trendy well decorated warehouse loft, I liked the look. It is not a place I would go and hang out on a regular basis, it felt a little uptight, but I would go again. The beer was good and the food was also good, the prices reflect the atmosphere. The only thing I have against the place was that the charcuterie plate features 2 meats and several cheese, sorry but in my book that is a cheese plate. Do stop in for a beer, just skip the cheese plate.
