A group of us went there last night and none of us were impressed one bit. The beer was flat. It had no head retention and just seemed off. One of them was supposedly an award winner, but you couldn't tell that from what we had. Service was terrible as well. They couldn't even get our checks right. The food was pretty good, but came out a bit cold. I looked at the tips in FourSquare and most of the comments said the exact same thing. We won't be back. That's a shame too, I really like brewpubs and prefer to support them over the chains.

gustavo is a genius brewer and the herk beer is now beautiful (and drinkable).

rotating beers thru 6 taps. never had a bad one. amazing stuff.

hitting a review word minimum, but my comments are really boiled into a fine wort with the basic idea of, the herk is arguably the best brew pub in the twin cities now that gustavo is applying his efforts. if you havent tried it lately, time to try it now.
