I've spent a couple of summers working in Greenville. Ham's is an oasis in the beer desert of Eastern NC.
TL does a kick ass job of brewing many different styles and doing them all well. The Peg Leg Pale is the flagship and it is delicious. I found myself here at least two nights a week when I was in town.
There are two bars and a nice patio area. The service is friendly and usually prompt. The food is above average pub grub and there are specials throughout the week.
Growlers are available in gallon and half-gallon varieties.
I just wish they could keep up with demand and send some Ham's beer to one of the four Ham's locations here in Greensboro.

As Greenville's one and only brewpub, they do a surprisingly good job with their beer. Their beer is decent and the quality is consistent. The Sunfest Lager has one medals. Go here to drink, the food is just so-so. If you want to eat, go for the bison burger, it is the best they have to offer. They keep three beers on tap all year including the Sunfest Lager and Charlie's Barley, with 1-2 seasonal brews rotating throughout the year. They even have Barley wine, usually in the Spring. The atmosphere is definitely undergraduate college crowd. If the weather is nice, sit on the patio.
