Wow, Green's has certainly changed since the law went into effect. A little side room as you enter for specialty beers which is in essence a beer cellar containing many Belgian beers. The standard beer lineup appears to have received a kick in the pants as well.

As was noted the place can be a smidge difficult to get into, but off Haywood, turn into the mall and then head left and left again followed by a right and Green's will be there to greet you. The staff stayed open late to sell me what I desired and that rates highly in my book.

This Green's is easy to spot from 385, but can be a little difficult to get to. If you get on the road that loops around Haywood Mall, you should be ok, though. The organization is decent and the selection is good for SC (I'm scoring selection relative to SC not the rest of the US/world). However, I still only spent less than $30 my last time here - WAY under my usual out-of-state beer store spending. I still managed to find a few good things, however. When SC gets their cap popped, things should improve pretty dramatically. Service was good. I only saw one 4 pack of Allagash White and asked if there were more. The woman who helped me looked around in the back and in the computer before she confirmed that that was all they had - at least she tried. At checkout, my wife came in with me, but didn't bring her purse inside. Since she was standing with me at the register, she had to show her ID or wait in the lobby. I thought that was a weird nuisance - don't know if it's state law or just store policy though.

I'll re-rate this one a little while after the new law goes into effect and will note the changes.
