The front entry is short walk down the shopping mall but the lanai entry is right off the wharf walkway. There are two bars, the first is decent size traditional bar just inside the front door by the brew tanks with some adjacent tall table seating. The square lanai bar is out back and has additional counter, tall and traditional table seating. The dining areas offer both interior and patio table seating. As mentioned, the views from the patio or lanai are grand.
The brew selection includes all the GB standards as well as the current seasonal. I typically enjoy the Schwarzbier and the darker seasonals (Festbier & Winter Bock). The menu includes most of the typical GB entries, salads and sandwiches as well as several entrees with an island flare. Parking is available in the lot out front or by valet during busy times and GB validation offsets most of the cost. The nearby Aloha Tower is on several bus routes.

This place freakin' rocks! We left Hawaii in the late pacific" winter of 2001 and this is the first decent brew I had in Honolulu. This isalso one of the places which brings back so many memories. The location is fantastic. You are literally 15 feet from the pacific Ocean and close enough to the bows or yachts, tall ships and luxury liners, you can lean from the shore and touch them flat handed. The breeze cools you down as you relax with the Gordon Biersch Golden Export, Hefeweizen or Porter. Outdoor seating is optional but you would be NUTS not to put your feet up and enjoy the people watching. The beer is always cold, served in the appropriate glasses and the waitstaff is a multicultural as the clientele which makes for a very friendly atmosphere. If you are in Hono for the Pro Bowl, this is a definite place to stop as the players, support staff and cheerleaders are always making appearances. Snobby tourists don't make an appearance at the the Aloha Market place especially at GB's as it promotes a very relaxed but professional place where one can just be yourself. The dress is casual as it is everywhere else on the island. A friendly attitude is a must and the Garlic fries are an excellent meal to have to complement the beer, not the other way around. They offer other beers but to me this is like going to a steak house and ordering a sandwich. I HIGHLY recommend the Golden Export. GB has several places around the country and we love each one and have had fantastic service. Each location also is also as unique as the menu. You gotta go!
