Located just a short distance from the Golden Chain Highway and California Gold Discovery Historic Park, this location provides a nice opportunity to sample fine local beer and wine produced on-site. The tasting room has a wrap around deck that overlooks the vineyard. In addition to the usual winery tasting area, the room also sports a small bar with 6 taps. There is a small fee for the tasting sampler and pints are available if you want to kick back on the deck. Only 5 styles were available when we visited (Porter was dry) but I enjoyed the Axe Pic‘n Stout and Old Miner’s Scotch Ale (filled a mini keg to bring home). There is lots of parking under the trees and the view is terrific.
