linkThe Foodery is located in Philly's Northern Liberties neighborhood, which has several places to eat and drink within walking distance. Parking is free or metered along the streets. The Foodery has a tremendous, but pricey, selection of craft beers. Pennsylvania law requires beer distributors to sell beer by the case, so it is nice to find specially licensed retailers that have an excellent selection of individual bottles for drinking on premises or carryout sale. Although expensive, I guarantee you'll find several new craft beers you've never had before at the Foodery. There is a deli window with sandwiches for sale, and a small area of seating for eating and drinking. I recommend a mix-six-pack of well-chosen beers for taking home. Watch your step on the way out.
