Les 3 Brasseurs (The 3 Brewers) is a brewpub chain located in and around the Montreal area. The restaurant is 2 stories, and has a big bar. I had ordered a beer sampler at a previous stop at one of the other 3 Brasseurs chains, so this time I stuck with what I liked best and was happy with the decision.

This restaurant was located in a bustling section of Montreal. It'd be tough to find parking there, but we were on foot so it wasn't an issue.

I can't add or change much from the previous review. I was there tonight. Had a small sampler of their beers. Decent, very drinkable but nothing to get too excited about in their regular line (brown was the best in my opinion). BUT.. they did have something neat I'm guessing was some sort of anniversary or special release. La Belle Province. As it was described in their menu "an amber beer with a hint of maple". Was very very good. Maple was just there on the edges, solidly malty, enough hops to balance. Served in a bottle and was definitely bottle conditioned (got a glop of yeast towards the end of the bottle).

Place was packed, waitress was so-so on beer knowledge. didn't try any food.

I believe this location is the latest link in the chain of these brewpubs. Located on bustling St. Catharine’s, street. This one is hard to miss as it occupies a prominent corner. I went here twice during my recent visit to Montreal. I spent one visit at the bar and one eating in the dining area.

This is a large two-story establishment with lots of wood, windows, high ceilings & faux aged brewing crates. A nice long bar runs along the wall opposite the windows. The brewing equipment is upstairs. They have some very attractive tap towers.

The service was decent and at least the bartender was able to discuss the beers.

On to beers, Les 3 Brasseurs only offers 4 house beers. These include a blond, a brown (Brune) an Amber (Ambree) and a pale wheat (Blanche). None of these were bad, but none really made the earth move either. They are brewed for mass appeal and given the crowds; I think they hit their target. I did not see any seasonals or specials, but since they had just opened, they may not have been able to produce any.

The food was decent. I liked their take on pizzas. The atmosphere was fun and the crowd was friendly.

This is not a world-class brewpub, but if you go in with modest expectations, you will not be disappointed
